Biography

Beautiful design, craftsmanship and a passion for building modern spaces that bring joy and comfort to my clients is what drives my interior design process.

Having spent 12 years working in luxury fashion - as a product designer for brands including Mulberry and Alfred Dunhill, I apply that same passion for extraordinary design and functionality to helping my clients build incredible spaces in which to live and work.

My first major renovation projects were of my own family homes: the first, converting a one bedroom flat into a three bedroom house and the second, as our family grew, a move into a four bedroom new build.

These spaces were so much more than bricks and mortar and furniture, they became the heart-centre of our family. I take that same holistic approach with my clients: creating spaces that live, breathe and grow with them.

Ethos

A beautiful, functional space is not about what is in it, it is about how it makes my clients feel. Whether it is a place of respite and sanctuary, work or play, my goal is an innate sense of calm, ease and fluidity.

My background in product design means I lean strongly on functionality and sustainability over trends and fashions - not just because it is ethical but because longevity and adaptability is at the core of all great design.

Each space, and each client, is unique. So I get to know my clients, help them explore their own aesthetic tastes and work with them to build confidence in making choices about materials and colours based on their own personality and needs. I research how materials are sourced, how they work and how they will last and adapt with my clients. I help them build spaces that look good and feel good - for now, and whatever the future holds.
